Sorry for being so scarce lately.

I spent a bunch of time trying to land a contract job. And now that I have the job, I've been too busy to blog. Plus both of my computers had catastrophic hardware failures on the same day, and it took five days to get even one of them back again.

Hopefully I'll be able to slip in a few Magpie posts soon.

Slow to nonexistent blogging today.

It's my last day at my current job, and I'm actually having to do work (archiving documents, deleting files, etc.). Hopefully I'll get a real post or two up later today, but I wouldn't recommend holding your breath while you wait.

I was handed my two-week notice for my current job, so my mind was occupied with a few other things besides blogging.

It figures.

I finally start blogging again yesterday, and what happens? I wind up flat on my back, sick, for most of yesterday and part of today. I'm sure Dubya is to blame for this, somehow.

The dog ate my posts.

OK, I don't even have a dog.

And I really haven't posted anything in more than a month.
